Job Description

Cloud Elements is one of the fastest growing Colorado technology startups, focused on making one-to-many cloud API integrations easier for developers. In 2013 we were named APEX Tech Startup of the Year! We’re looking for a fast-paced, witty, quick-on-their-feet, resilient, and wicked smart sales & marketing intern who will help firsthand in the development and growth of Cloud Elements. This position is based in Denver at our awesome office on Brighton Boulevard.

The Specifics:

As a Cloud Elements intern, you will be involved in all aspects of our sales and marketing activities. On the sales side, we’re looking for someone who will perform market research, optimize our reporting & automation, and help with managing leads and prospect data.

On the marketing side, our new intern will ramp up our marketing automation system, by working with the team to design digital marketing campaigns and workflows. He/she will get to see first-hand how to optimize the buyers funnel and try out new tactics to increase conversion and engagement. We’re looking for someone that’s analytics-driven and very, very creative.

Projects:

  • Planning & attending local events (startup focused, meetups, hackathons and other social events)

  • Interviewing and writing for the blog & social media content

  • Keep up with the Social Daily “checklist”

  • Researching opportunities for media interviews, analyst events, and speaking opportunities

  • Assistance with video production (scripts, project management, budgeting, production & publication)

  • Data management (list cleanse & uploads) in Salesforce.com and HubSpot

  • Market research in relations to competitors and potential customers

  • Managing, ordering, designing new & creative marketing swag

  • Office administrative help (business card orders, office supplies orders, office party planning & offsite meeting coordination)

Desired Education and Experience:

  • College degree in process

  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Social media sites (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google +).

We also use the following applications and tools. Knowledge of them would be helpful but is not necessary.

  • Salesforce.com

  • Hubspot

  • Slideshare

  • BufferApp

  • GoTo Meeting

  • Meetup.com

  • Adobe Creative Cloud (basic design skills in Illustrator would be great!!)
