We are seeking an eager, motivated, and creative individual to join our growing inside sales team. As our Inbound Business Development Representative, you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and dive in to help generate a strong pipeline of prospects and new client relationships. You will develop a deep knowledge of Cloud Element’s products, with the goals of exceeding sales targets and increasing customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
What you will do:
Follow up on leads with the end goal of setting initial meetings for the sales team, carefully and meticulously qualifying leads before passing them on to the outbound business development managers.
Team up with Marketing to qualify inbound leads and create processes to nurture the life cycle of the lead
Enter new leads, prospective customer data, log calls, and sales-related information into our CRM database (Salesforce).
Maintain a high-level understanding of Cloud Elements products offered, and be able to communicate the features and benefits of Cloud Elements’ technology.
Gain an understanding of how Cloud Elements products are used by our customers as well as industry best practices.
Research industry trends, market perceptions, competitive intelligence, etc. Present this information to sales, marketing, and company leaders.
When possible attend trade shows and industry events
Assist the Account Executives as needed
What we would like you to have:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 1-3 years of relevant experience in lead generation
B2B technology sales experience
Must have confidence in communicating with VP’s and C suite professionals both internally and externally
Thoughtful business acumen - always thinking about strategy while rolling up your sleeves to accomplish day-to-day goals
Demonstrate strong lead generation skills and disciplined sales administration skills
Experience working inside a CRM system, preferably Salesforce, and within a defined sales process
Experience with high call volume/activity requirements preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Outstanding work ethic - self-motivated and focused
