Our flagship location at 54th and 2nd offers a functional cafe, modern apothecary retail market, and innovative healing services (IV drips, infrared saunas, cryotherapy, and cryofacials). We are dedicated to connecting our community with products and services that elevate health and overall wellbeing.

With our first location now open, we are focused on building our team to support rapid growth and open 2 more stores in the next 12 months. Founded and funded by seasoned leaders in the wellness industry, Clean Market’s is fast becoming a destination for those looking to refuel and relax. People are at the core of what we do and we are looking for diverse, passionate, and intentional individuals as we continue to rapidly build our company. We are looking for a jack of all trades HR Manager to oversee all People efforts including HR & compliance, recruiting, training & development and employee engagement. As HR hire #1, you’ll have a unique opportunity to help define the Clean Market culture and ensure our staffreceives the same nourishment as our customers.



  • Oversee all new hire training and on-boarding programs
  • Create an effective employee engagement strategy to coach, motivate, engage, and retain talent
  • Implement effective performance feedback and performance management processes at all levels of the organization
  • Act as a champion of the Clean Market core values and culture, mission and vision


  • Partner with General Manager to oversee all company payroll related functions
  • Facilitate new hire HR on-boarding & off-boarding paperwork & background check processes
  • Stay up to date on HR compliance in new and existing markets; including, but not limited to, local labor law requirements, employment verifications, unemployment and tax notices
  • Oversee management of all company benefit programs
  • Work with Director of Operations to manage all company-wide HR policies & procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring Employee Handbook is kept up to date
  • Develop and implement an impactful company-wide annual compensation process


  • Oversee the recruitment funnel, sourcing talented applicants for in-store positions including retail staff, business unit managers, medical staff, and services staff
  • Provide a positive experience for each and every candidate

  • Hire an exceptional team that supports the vision of Clean Market


  • BA/BS or equivalent

  • 3+ years relevant experience in a fast-paced, creative store or similar environment

  • LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS experience a plus

  • Passion for health and wellness

  • Willingness to learn

  • Strong people management and leadership skills

  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills

  • Exceptional time management, decision making and planning skills
