Job Description:

Our Marketing team is responsible for communicating and sharing Civil Maps’ unique value proposition with an exciting, growing ecosystem of automakers, mobility startups, and mapping companies. Through continuous feedback, we work collaboratively to develop product messaging/positioning and brand awareness throughout the self-driving autotech industry. We’re charged with translating our key messages and propagating them through the development of compelling content, events, social media, and relationships with top-tier technology/automotive press.

We are looking for a versatile, highly analytical marketer with great written and verbal communication skills to join us. Working with the Marketing Director, you will help showcase the company at events, reporter/analyst interviews, and customer meetings with top automotive OEMs.

You Will:

  • Work across a combination of marketing channels -- from product marketing to events and content creation, etc.

  • Create and execute impactful strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage speaking engagements from pitch to presentation

  • Drive our event participation to build greater brand awareness, highlight the expertise of our executives, and enhance customer engagement

  • Manage vendors and marketing budgets necessary to execute against plans

  • Develop and measure compelling marketing collaterals to help accelerate customer win rate and thought leadership

  • Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to support ongoing customer development, product updates/launches, and go-to-market strategies

You Have:

  • Analytical thinking with ability to independently fill knowledge gaps as needed

  • Extreme attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy

  • Outstanding written communication skills, spanning work on blogs, white papers, sales sheets, press releases, social media posts, and speaking submissions

  • Proven success with end-to-end event management and content creation

  • Polished interpersonal skills with ability to operate effectively across teams and represent Civil Maps at events/client meetings

  • Willingness to offer, accept, and utilize critical feedback

  • Experience with applying customer insights towards the development of impactful marketing strategies

  • Bachelor’s degree or M.B.A.

  • 4+ years experience in a marketing or public relations role, preferably with area expertise in autotech or enterprise technology
