You also have experience using databases and spreadsheets to conduct complex data analysis, preferably related to sales, marketing, or operations. You have a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. You have familiarity with CRM systems and how its usage impacts all areas of a business.

About the Position:

You will work cross-departmentally with Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Finance to support the sales organization’s CRM reporting and data analysis needs, as well as enhance our processes for better results.

You will manage reporting in Salesforce, ensuring actionable data is provided to sales leadership to enable the sales team’s success. You will surface gaps in data and process, quantify time and energy spent on process, and offer recommendations for improvement. You will help forecast and analyze trends in sales data, territory opportunity, and sales compensation to drive improvements and increase revenue.

Our Sales Operations Team:

  • We are data-driven, growth-focused, and operate at a high velocity
  • Our team members and leaders are empowered, entrepreneurial, and autonomous
  • We use Salesforce CRM, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Groove and Pardot

A successful Sales Operations Analyst will leverage sales data and analytical tools to support the sales organization.

Most weeks will involve:

  • Understanding sales processes and working with reps and managers to determine the related system requirements
  • Supporting prospect data analysis and cleansing efforts using an ongoing data freshening and advancement strategy
  • Working with multiple sales teams ranging from entry-level sales development teams to seasoned enterprise-level teams
  • Collaborating with members of other departments as needed, including sales, marketing, finance, and technology

Weekly or monthly activities may include:

  • Responsible for analysis that supports budget, quota and KPI targets

  • Making recommendations based on data to assist with sales compensation plan design, on-target earning potential, and aligning compensation incentives with the growth priorities of the company
  • Monitoring trends in new hires and top performers by role or team to support hiring intelligence
  • Modeling and integration of the impact of potential partnerships, acquisitions, or product launches, and being a representative for the sales team in implementing changes when these events arise, while also partnering with finance for company-wide impacts
