Position Overview
The SVP of Healthcare Economics reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for leading economic evaluations, modeling, and analytics to support value-based care strategies and financial and operational decision-making across CINQCARE.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and apply health economic models, including cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, and utilization forecasting.
• Leverage multi-source data (clinical, behavioral health, pharmacy, and social determinants of health) to generate actionable insights that improve outcomes and cost efficiency.
• Design and implement benchmarking, trend analysis, and service category models to evaluate cost, utilization, and performance.
• Support value-based contracting efforts by analyzing, translating, and communicating financial and clinical value to inform negotiations.
• Provide analytical support for financial pro formas, budgets, forecasts, and profit-and-loss (P&L) reporting.
• Lead and develop an analytics team responsible for ongoing and ad hoc business analyses.
• Define and monitor value levers, key performance indicators (KPIs), and program validation metrics to assess performance and impact.
• Conduct claims and membership analyses using historical and longitudinal data to inform healthcare economics evaluations.
• Partner cross-functionally to drive change management initiatives and integrate reporting across clinical, operational, and financial teams.
• Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership while independently identifying and solving complex business challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in economics, statistics, finance, business, mathematics, actuarial science, health administration or related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years of payer, provider or value-based contracting experience. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of relevant Payer Healthcare Economic experience in the healthcare industry;
- Advanced proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
- Advanced proficiency in data analytic tools and platforms that support data ingestion of raw data from various sources, data processing to clean and transform the data, and analyze the refined data to derive insights (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python),
- Experience in enterprise/multi-source data warehouses, and multi-dimensional analysis visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI);
- Advanced level proficiency with SQL, SAS, Python or other data management programs
- Advanced level skills/knowledge of query tools, database platforms, data mapping/ETL, system platforms and software packages platforms.
- Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with business leaders and external constituents. Excellent judgement, impeccable ethics, and a strong team player; desire to succeed and grow in a fast-paced, demanding and entrepreneurial environment

The working environment and physical requirements of the job include:
Work is performed indoors in a setting with conditioned air and artificial light. Travel to and work in offices or other environments is required.
In this position you will need an to communicate with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers in person and over devices, sometimes with people who are agitated. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Must be able to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Lifting of up to 10 lbs. occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. Good reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.
