Pediatric Physical Therapist Job in Ventura, California

Children’s Therapy Network (CTN) is hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team in beautiful Ventura, California.

If you are an experienced pediatric PT—or a new graduate Physical Therapist looking for strong mentorship and an opportunity to build your pediatric skills—we want to meet you.

This position provides the opportunity to deliver individualized pediatric physical therapy in a collaborative outpatient clinic while building meaningful relationships with children and their families.

Pediatric Physical Therapy at CTN

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at CTN, you will provide individualized outpatient physical therapy in our Ventura clinic.

Our pediatric PTs help children improve functional mobility and participate more independently in their everyday lives.

Treatment may address areas such as:

  • Gross motor development

  • Strength and endurance

  • Balance and coordination

  • Gait and mobility

  • Torticollis

  • Toe walking

  • Hypotonia

  • Developmental motor delays

  • Early intervention needs

  • Stair and playground mobility

  • Independence with everyday activities

You will also work closely with parents and caregivers, helping families understand how to carry therapeutic strategies into the child's daily routines.

Your Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Perform pediatric PT evaluations and re-evaluations

  • Develop individualized plans of care and functional therapy goals

  • Provide evidence-based pediatric physical therapy interventions

  • Educate parents and caregivers and develop home programs

  • Collaborate with other members of the child’s care team

  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines

  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans based on the child’s needs

  • Participate in clinical meetings, training, and professional development

  • Help families understand and participate in their child's therapy plan

What Success Looks Like at CTN

We believe clinicians should understand how success is measured. Our clinical team works toward clear standards for quality, service, and accountability, including:

  • 95% or higher family satisfaction

  • 80% or more therapy goals met at re-evaluation

  • Completion of agreed-upon billable caseload expectations

  • 90% or higher client arrival rate

  • Timely completion of daily clinical documentation

  • Timely completion of evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress reports

Pediatric Physical Therapist Qualifications

Required

  • Current or eligible California Physical Therapist license

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, caregivers, and colleagues

  • Organized and timely clinical documentation

  • Interest in pediatric physical therapy and child development

  • Collaborative, professional, and solution-oriented approach

Preferred

  • Pediatric Physical Therapy experience

  • Experience with torticollis, toe walking, hypotonia, developmental delay, or early intervention

  • Knowledge of pediatric gross motor development

  • Familiarity with sensory processing and interdisciplinary pediatric care

  • Spanish-English bilingual skills

New graduate Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply. Pediatric experience is preferred but is not required for candidates with a strong interest in developing their pediatric PT skills.

Pediatric PT Compensation

CTN offers a performance-enhanced compensation model designed to reward productivity, client engagement, and professional growth.

Full-Time Pediatric PT: Approximately $75,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience and performance.

Part-time opportunities are also available, with compensation based on schedule, employment arrangement, experience, and productivity.

Additional bonus and profit-sharing opportunities may be available based on eligibility and position.
