Your Role as a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)

As a PT at CTN, you will provide 1:1 pediatric physical therapy in our fully equipped sensory and gross-motor outpatient clinics. You’ll collaborate closely with caregivers and an interdisciplinary therapy team to support children in reaching meaningful functional goals such as:

  • Navigating stairs

  • Improving playground mobility

  • Increasing strength, stability, and endurance

  • Gaining independence in daily routines

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and individualized care plans

  • Deliver evidence-based PT interventions supporting motor function and mobility

  • Provide caregiver education and home strategies

  • Document treatment thoroughly and submit reports on time

  • Participate in team meetings, collaboration, and clinical planning

What Success Looks Like (Performance Metrics)

Qualifications for Pediatric PT Jobs

Who You Are

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in California

  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred (new grads welcome with strong interest in pediatrics)

  • Strong interest in pediatric gross motor development

  • Clear communicator with families and team members

  • Adaptable, organized, and efficient with documentation

  • Passionate about helping children gain confidence and independence

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience with torticollis, toe-walking, low tone, or motor delays

  • Knowledge of sensory processing and early childhood development

  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus
