Position:

The Warehouse Lead role is designed for individuals who aspire to grow into warehouse leadership positions, but may not have previous direct experience managing people. The primary focus of this role is on personal and professional development, with an emphasis on assisting with mentoring, supervisory administrative competencies, safety leadership and overall development.

Essential Functions:

● Provides guidance and support to the warehouse team in their day-to-day tasks.

● Assists training sessions on warehouse processes, safety procedures, and best practices.

● Encourages safety culture through reinforcing all rules and guidelines.

● Works closely with team members to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.

● Assists in the coordination of daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy, as an extension of the leadership team.

● Assists leadership team in deployment and training of team members with Rapyuta AMR’s.

● Collaborates with the Inventory team to assist in resolving inventory issues.

● Engages in leadership development programs to enhance supervisory skills.

● Actively seeks opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and projects to build leadership capabilities.

● Fosters a collaborative and positive work environment within the warehouse team.

● Leads daily safety and productivity meetings.

● Becomes a subject matter expert across all functional areas of distribution, both operational and equipment.

● Communicates effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth workflow.

Work Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or a related field is a plus.

Fundamental understanding of Warehouse Management System (Korber - Edge) and Enterprise Resource Planning software (Microsoft Dynamics - AX), along with Champro internal software platforms Stock Product App (SPA) and Custom Production App (CPA).

Certified to operate material handling equipment including: Turret Truck, Order Picker, Stand Up Reach Truck, Rider Jack, Pack Mule.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
