Human Resource Generalist

Position:

As CHAMPRO continues its expansion, we seek a passionate and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team members through various HR functions. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand hiring needs and facilitate the recruitment process, from interviews to hiring decisions.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Serve as a point of contact for team member inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Address team member relations issues, such as conflicts or grievances, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Administer various HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, performance management, and safety initiatives.
  • Support managers and team members in identifying performance improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
  • Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal changes to enhance HR operations and compliance.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and retention.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SHRM Certification a plus.

  • Proficiency in time management to meet deadlines effectively.

  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software or ability to learn quickly.
