Engineer General Manager

About you:

You are an experienced Engineering General Manager who would oversee production processes, optimize manufacturing efficiency, and implement engineering solutions to improve product quality and cost-effectiveness, for both La Vega & Santiago.

You will have a strong background in textile manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and team leadership.

Requirements:

• Lead and manage the engineering team to support textile production operations.

• Work with our Operations team to support product changes improving Manufacturability, Quality and Reliability for products already in production.

• Oversee process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for textile machinery.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D (Research & Development) teams to optimize material usage and workflow.

• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

• Manage capital projects, including new equipment installations and factory upgrades.

• Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to develop layouts and optimize plant operations.

• Train and mentor engineering staff to foster professional development and skill enhancement.
