Chairish Inc. is looking for a Vice President of Trade Sales. As VP of Trade Sales, you will lead and drive sales of our trade program to make Chairish the preferred shopping venue for interior designers. We’re looking for someone with experience building B2B sales teams and established relationships with leading trade firms. This role is based in San Francisco (remote eligible) and will report into Anna Brockway, President.
Set and achieve quarterly sales targets by retaining and growing spend with top interior design and architecture firms.
Recruit, train and lead a regional team of account executives to build relationships with trade firms by delivering value to key buying decision makers.
Recommend CRM upgrades to understand and optimize the activity and cadence of top buyers, lapsed buyers and non-buyers.
Develop sales outreach plan and evaluate and optimize team performance.
Advocate internally for trade firms with service enhancements, product feedback, loyalty program upgrades and marketing opportunities.
Experience starting and leading a regional B2B sales team of 5+ account executives
Established relationships with leading trade firms.
Clear, warm, timely communication skills to lead your team remotely, to create trusting, strong relationships cross-functionally and to interface with priority accounts.
Ability to map decision-making processes within a complex organization
Ability to identify and overcome objections throughout the full sales cycle
Works well in a team based environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Understanding of the Chairish competitive landscape – from both traditional sources and online players
A passion for interior design, art, objets d’art, decorative arts, or architecture and an ability to communicate with clients on these subjects
