Chairish Inc. is looking for a Shipping & Logistics Associate. The Shipping & Logistics Associate is a problem solver focused on providing a timely, quality delivery experience, and contributing to high customer satisfaction ratings, repeat purchase, and positive word-of-mouth. They are responsible for delivering positive outcomes with tact and diplomacy while balancing conflicting needs and priorities. The Shipping & Logistics Associate is self-motivated and exhibits a strong sense of ownership for their work and their impact on our customers.
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of progressive experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. The ideal candidate has experience delivering exceptional customer experiences and prior experience in Shipping & Logistics is a plus
Manage Chairish shipments from scheduling to delivery.
Monitors progress, identifies barriers and delays, and ensures that orders move quickly through the scheduling, pickup, transit, and delivery processes.
Proactively communicates (email and/or phone) with Chairish buyers, sellers, and shippers to ensure timely deliveries and within expected timelines.
Maintains clear, accurate documentation, and escalates issues as needed.
Manage and resolve post delivery shipping issues including damages, losses and claims.
Track, document, and recommend solutions to address systemic causes of any delays, exceptions, damages and losses.
Identify opportunities to improve processes - always looking for a better way to do things
