Sales Support Account Specialist

Job Description

Chairish Inc (Chairish, DECASO and Dering Hall)  seeks a Sales Support Account Specialist to assist in bringing new sellers and buyers into our growing marketplaces for high end home furnishings. 

Our dream candidate is organized, detail oriented and operates with a high level of urgency. Ideally, candidate has a passion for high-end home design and a taste level to match.  This position will report to the Director of Sales Operations and is crucial in executing our sales strategies. 

Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify  and document sales leads from external sources (design shows, editorial, research) to build sales pipeline; establish consistent standards and methodologies for researching, prospecting, and qualifying leads;

  • Qualify sales leads and transition then to appropriate salesperson to close;

  • Work with a sales development pipeline monitoring system to ensure maximum sales throughput with minimal bottlenecks;

  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process;

  • Take ownership of the CRM system to develop best practices and ensure clean data;

  • Using the rating and prioritization system for all leads, work with sales team weekly to measure progress and improve outcomes;

  • Work with Director of Sales Operations to capture and report out on KPI’s at each step of the sales funnel;

  • Partner with sales directors to ensure smooth hand-offs and alignment of strategic priorities;

  • Work within team goals for monthly lead objectives; regularly report out on performance;

  • Motivate a team of sales directors and member experience team to effectively utilize CRM systems, reports and communication tools.

Position Requirements & Experience:

  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience 

  • Working knowledge of CRM systems, Insightly experience preferred

  • Validated ability to set objectives and meet goals, both at the individual and team level

  • Particular strength in structured thinking, analytics and a methodical approach to problem solving

  • Interest or past experience in the design industry a plus, but not required

  • Strong organization and communication skills. Comfortable whether that means manning the booth at a trade show, responding to an inbound lead via email or making a cold call as part of a sales campaign

  • Bachelor’s degree
