Chairish Inc. is looking for a(n) Customer Support Associate. Reporting to Customer Support Manager, our Customer Support Associate will support our Trade members and other high value customers converting them to brand evangelists, collaborate daily with internal and external teams and colleagues from within the organization to resolve customers concerns quickly and effectively. As a Customer Support Associate you will have the opportunity to interact with Chairish customers daily and be a pivotal part of guiding them towards successful sales and purchases. We’re looking for someone who is driven by the opportunity to support and engage with customers, can successfully manage multiple tasks in a high pace environment and enjoys working with a team towards the goal of a consistent experience for our growing customer base.


  • Support our Trade Members and other high value customer segments to drive revenue and repeat purchases

  • Engage with new customer segments, converting them to brand evangelists  

  • Integrate seamlessly with a team of representatives in our Toronto center, ensuring a consistent experience for our growing customer base

  • Collaborate daily with internal teams and colleagues from within the org (Logistics, Finance) to resolve customer concerns effectively

  • Attend and contribute to a variety of meetings, ranging from company wide sessions to team led problem solving sessions

  • Assist a team of account managers with all aspects of seller relationships, helping drive seller satisfaction

  • Participate in launching and supporting new initiatives continually capturing customer feedback used in collaboration sessions with various teams (Product, UX, Engineering) to improve our product and increase satisfaction

  • Incorporate other responsibilities based on business need

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years in a customer support role including for a web based company, using various channels of communication (phone, email, chat)

  • Familiarity with Zendesk (or other) & CRM systems and practices 

  • Proficient with web based platforms and tools (e.g. Google Docs & Gmail)

  • Preference given to candidates with experience  supporting a marketplace - including product lines, pricing, delivery times & methods

  • A background or interest in home design is a plus
