Program Director

At CESO, a Program Director is responsible for the execution of a client program or multiple small client programs simultaneously. They will coordinate all client activities, monitor & forecast overall program performance, and ensure delivery on client projects. You will have primary responsibilities that include:

  • Responsible for billing and invoicing the project and tracking and managing client’s accounts receivable working with accounting to be paid by contract terms
  • Accountable for overall client program performance, including financial performance and client satisfaction
  • Establish program standards and best practices
  • Ensure that delivery of projects within the program meets or exceeds Company's quality standard and is delivered on time
  • Lead program teams and facilitate the communication, interaction, and acquires appropriate resources from upper management to meet workload levels
  • Track program against its schedule, budget and against phase review objectives, reporting status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff on an as needed basis
  • Reviews scope and fee proposals prior to issuance to client
  • Resolve conflicts among program team members
  • Provide feedback regarding employee performance on a program team to the functional manager for documentation
  • Recommend and lead efforts to improve existing processes to improve quality or on-time delivery
  • Position will have supervisory responsibilities for managing and mentoring personnel including Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and design team members
  • Identify and seek out additional potential business by probing new expanded services and keeping up with program trends during Business Development efforts with assigned client
  • Maintain relationships with company(s) and key people to increase the company(s) visibility within the market
  • Communicate all client policies, procedures, and program goals to staff and conducts regular team meetings
  • Responsible to meet Federal and State requirements regarding program practices, etc.
  • Deal with the public, customers, employees, and government officials with tact and courtesy
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Sets and conducts kickoff and closeout meetings
  • Supervise and enforce project objectives and timeline for completion and effectively communicate them to involved parties throughout project
  • Supervise and enforce project scope, schedule, fee budget and write proposals that support business goals

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in architecture with 10+ years of experience managing programs in a design and construction related field
  • Architectural License required
  • LEED Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Knowledge of Newforma and Microsoft Office Suite
