Senior Digital Media Planner
Digital Marketing | Costa Rica | Full Time
Job Purpose:
The Senior Digital Media Planner will be responsible for creating and executing effective digital media plans that help our clients achieve their marketing goals. They will work closely with other departments to ensure that all campaigns are implemented according to plan and delivered on time and on budget.
As a leader within the digital marketing team, the Senior Planner will drive critical media planning and strategy in collaboration with search and paid social SMEs to deliver on client business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of how the various digital channels work together, including display, video, mobile, search, and social, and expertise with in-platform programmatic buying.
Job Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital media plans that align with client objectives and budgets
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. account management) to ensure that all campaigns are executed effectively
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust as necessary to optimize results
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new media opportunities to ensure that our agency is offering cutting-edge digital solutions
- Manage relationships with media vendors to negotiate rates and secure the best possible placements for our clients
- Create and deliver campaign performance reports to clients on a regular basis
- Analyze data from multiple sources (e.g. Google Analytics, social media platforms) to inform campaign strategy and optimization
- Train and mentor junior members of the digital media planning team
- Provide POVs on landscape changes & innovations to share with internal & external teams
- Participate in client meetings, QBRs, and on-sites with the goal of developing strong client relationships and educate clients on the industry, align on their campaigns, and deliver strong results
- Work with the Media Supervisors to develop new processes, when necessary, to improve results and efficiencies for the department
Requirements:
Required Education and Experience:
- BA or BS from accredited college or university
- 4-5 years of experience in digital media planning or buying
- Experience working with a variety of digital media platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360)
- Hands-on experience with Google Marketing Platform (CM, DV360, etc); knowledge of other ad servers a plus
- Excellent numerical aptitude to manage budgets, invoicing, etc.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m and subject to changes by Manager’s communication.
Travel:
Travel may be required. Travel may be outside of the regular business hours.
