Sales Development Representative

We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Sales Development Representative to play a key role in building sales pipeline for our rapidly growing business.  The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will work closely with our sales organization to generate a steady flow of new qualified opportunities.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter with high energy and positive phone presence.  Strong organizational and follow-up skills are a must, and previous demand generation experience is a real plus as well as hotel/travel experience. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize with sales partners to identify high-value prospects with the greatest propensity to buy
  • Engage with decision makers and influencers in targeted prospect accounts to identify their top priorities and business challenges
  • Prospect into to a variety of industries and audiences to set meetings and generate qualified sales opportunities
  • Deploy a combination of inbound and outbound activities including cold calling, email, and direct mail and succinctly articulate the client message and value proposition
  • Nurture and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects until they are sales ready
  • Overcome gatekeeper objections to make direct contact with key decision makers
  • Keep current on products, industry, competitors and positioning 
  • Meet or exceed weekly, and monthly program goals for performance and quality
  • Track any and all prospecting and lead management activities in


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Professional and polished
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter-able to work independently without supervision
  • Superior communication skills – particularly over the phone


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years sales or related market/business experience
  • Software/saas experience, sales experience or other related business experience
  • Previous experience with lead generation, business development or inside sales
  • Business to Business marketing experience, technology companies a plus
  • Experience identifying, contacting and cold calling potential customers
  • Experience using a CRM tool - experience a plus
  • Foreign language skills are highly desirable
