Job Purpose: 

The Paid Social Senior Specialist position is part of the digital marketing department as a subject matter expert in paid social with a strong passion for digital media and paid social marketing.

As a core member of the paid social team, the Senior Specialist will be responsible for the design, execution, and optimization of media strategies across social platforms. The ideal candidate will be exciting about building and managing paid social media plans and applying a test and learn approach to continue to drive performance. Utilizing research tools and concepts related both to social media marketing and the hospitality industry, the Senior Specialist will bring forth new recommendations based on social trends, market research & campaign performance data. The applicant should be resourceful and have a strategic mindset with analytical skills.

Job Location:

The position is remote/home office. Strong preference for Boca Raton, FL area or the following states: AZ, CA, FL,GA, MA, MO, NE, NV, OH, PA, TX.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Essential Functions:

    This position will support the Digital Media team and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    1. Managing the paid social media advertising campaigns on platforms such as:
      1. Facebook/Instagram
      2. Pinterest
      3. LinkedIn
    2. Experience managing multiple clients/brands with budgets ranging up to $50k-$100k+ monthly
    3. Building custom audiences based on a hotel/resorts target audience and 1st party data
    4. Developing insights from complex and diverse data sets and coherently communicating those insights internally and to clients
    5. Optimizing paid social media advertising campaigns across platforms and collaborating with the wider team to ensure optimal allocation across channels
    6. Understand Facebook tracking and measurement through Facebook Pixels and Event Manager, and have a basic knowledge of digital media measurement and multi-channel attribution
    7. Compile performance reports, ensure data integrity and accuracy, and provide actionable insights
    8. Budget pacing and management of overall budgets
    9. Work closely cross-channel with experts within search, display, and programmatic
    10. Build strong relationships with vendor partners, account services, creative and other internal departments
    11. Experience mentoring and training junior staff
    12. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and project management capabilities


    Required Education and Experience:

    1. BA or BS from accredited college or university
    2. 3+ years of hands-on experience executing Paid Social Media campaigns in Facebook Business Manager
    3. Highly skilled with reporting and insights
    4. High proficiency with Excel, specifically with Pivot Tables and data analysis
  • Preferred Education and Experience:

    1. Digital and/or hospitality marketing experience is helpful, but not required
    2. Blueprint certification a plus
  • Expected Competencies:

    1. Highly motivated and willing to work closely within a team structure
    2. Able to problem solve, prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time effectively
    3. Detail-oriented with an analytical approach to achieving objectives.
    4. Exceptional communication skills – both written and presentation
