Implementation Specialist

Operations | Hybrid in Hyderabad, India | Full Time

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for implementing all of Cendyn’s products with a focus on the Revenue Cloud line. The Implementation Specialist will work with the Onboarding Team to understand customer business requirements and implement Cendyn solutions successfully.

Job Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Implement, test, and troubleshoot Cendyn products
  • Complete delivery tasks and projects for both external and internal customers
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and other external contacts as needed to assure customer success and smooth onboarding experience
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the relevant product domains
  • Research and solve data - and application-related issues
  • Provide escalation support for the Customer Support team, addressing issues directly or engaging additional escalation assistance when needed
  • Develop and maintain strong process analysis and data validation skills
  • Contribute to process and product design and documentation
  • Work with project leaders to establish project timelines, and attend meeting with external and internal customers as needed
  • Represent the business interests of Cendyn and the customer during the implementation of Cendyn pricing and revenue management solutions at the customer’s property(ies). This includes assessing the customer’s current revenue management practices and recommending business process changes to utilize the Cendyn products to their fullest capacity.
  • Understand key components of the customer’s operation and technology and work with the Onboarding Team to provide recommendations for property configuration on Cendyn products
  • Validate the customer environment to ensure configuration meets the specified customer segmentation and room categorization, data from the Property Management System is in synch in the Cendyn product and mapped according to the customer’s configuration specification.
  • Conduct the training of the Cendyn applications for customers during onboarding and refresher training as assigned
  • Conduct thorough application audit of the customer environment and complete knowledge transfer documentation for handoff to the Customer Success and Support Teams


  • BA or BS from accredited college or university or 3 years of relevant work experience in a Hotel Revenue Management role, planning and analysis, accounting, or finance
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Revenue Management at a property using revenue management system within the hospitality industry or minimum 3 years in a field related to finance, accounting, economics, data analysis
  • Knowledge of multiple Property Management System’s is preferred (e.g. LMS, Opera, Maestro, SMS)


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to systems integration
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and think analytically
  • Proactive approach to solving problems
  • Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions and garner respect from other team members
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to learn Cendyn applications and how they integrate with different Property Management and Sales and Catering Systems

Work Timings:

Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST to provide healthy overlap between India team and US team and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 2 days’ work from office at Hyderabad. Occasional evening and weekend work may be expected in case of job-related emergencies or client needs.
