Human Resources/Recruitment Coordinator

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR Manager/Payroll Team and the whole organization in any HR matters. The position will focus on recruitment and related activities and act as a junior HR subject matter expert in other HR functions (administration, internal communications/events, learning & development, organization development, HRIS) or coordinate HR projects as assigned.


You can expect to spend 75% of your time on recruitment and onboarding and 25% general HR tasks

  • Coordinate recruitment process including job postings, candidate assessment, interview scheduling and candidate communication/experience management
  • Conduct high volume, structured candidate phone screens for hiring manager review
  • Utilize proactive recruitment techniques if needed (e.g. LinkedIn contact)
  • Coordinate new hire process including paperwork, first day set up, onboarding planning
  • Assist with employee file maintenance (I-9 internal audit, employee records update)
  • Assist employee actions administration (entry and exit checklist updates)
  • Assist with ad hoc HR duties (e.g. EEOC reporting)
  • Coordinate policy and HR form updates
  • Act as Internship Program Champion/ University Relations Contact
  • Assist employees with their HR related inquiries


  • A least completed high school education with ideally 2-3 years of solid experience in recruitment and general HR duties. 
  • Recent  College Graduates with proven HR experience / internship may be considered
  • Combination of high volume recruitment agency and corporate HR experience strongly preferred
  • Tech savvy approach, comfortable using various HR tools including HRIS, MS Office applications, Applicant Tracking System (Jobscore preferred)
  • Very strong interest in developing an HR career with proven passion for HR
  • Flexibility to handle fast changing priorities and very high sense of urgency
  • Great attention to detail
  • Emotional intelligence and professional humility
  • Great appreciation for diversity and working in an international team
  • Very strong sense of confidentiality
  • Professional communication skills under any circumstance
  • Certification: SHRM – CP or PHR preferred
  • International recruitment/HR experience preferred
