Enterprise Sales Director APAC

Job Overview:

The Enterprise Sales Director – APAC is a results-driven hunter with a proven track record of exceeding quota in enterprise SaaS sales. The ideal candidate has experience selling to large hotel groups and hospitality brands across Asia, is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about driving digital transformation in the hotel industry. This role is responsible for new business acquisition and strategic growth across APAC (excluding Australia/New Zealand) for Cendyn’s solutions.


Job Responsibilities:

The Enterprise Sales Director will develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on securing new enterprise customers and expanding business within existing accounts. The individual will maximize every sales opportunity and consistently achieve quota for the assigned APAC territory. We are looking for a “doer” with a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, present Cendyn solutions via online demos, and represent the company at major APAC hospitality trade shows, conferences, and association events. This position will primarily sell to hotel chains, management companies, ownership groups, and hospitality brands.


Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan for selling Cendyn’s cloud-based software and services within APAC
  • Build and maintain a robust enterprise pipeline targeting hotel groups, brands, and ownership companies
    • Review and analyze market data to identify strategic targets
    • Drive proactive prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation
    • Respond promptly to inbound leads
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to uncover needs, overcome objections, and deliver tailored solutions
  • Navigate complex decision-making processes, timelines, and stakeholder mapping
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Identify upsell opportunities within existing enterprise accounts
  • Negotiate and prepare contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial terms
  • Consistently achieve assigned sales quota
  • Represent Cendyn at major APAC trade shows and industry events
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity in Salesforce, adhering to SOPs
  • Collaborate with Marketing to implement regional campaigns and enhance brand visibility
  • Partner with Project Management and Account Management teams for smooth onboarding and account growth
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Cendyn’s product portfolio, pricing, and policies
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities


Interaction:

This position involves daily interaction with customers, internal teams, and cross-functional departments. Engagement will often be with senior and executive-level stakeholders both internally and externally.


Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7+ years in enterprise SaaS sales, preferably in hospitality technology
    • Proven success selling to hotel groups, brands, and ownership companies across APAC
    • Strong track record of managing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
    • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Other:
    • Ability to travel extensively across APAC (up to 50%)
    • Language Requirements:
      • Fluent in English (required)
      • Proficiency in Mandarin strongly preferred for Greater China
      • Additional APAC languages such as Japanese, Korean, or Thai are a plus

Work Environment:

This is a remote role based in APAC, requiring a high degree of discipline and self-motivation.
