Business Analyst - Integrations

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy Business Analyst to join the Integrations team at Cendyn. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and external partners, ensuring seamless connectivity between Cendyn’s platform and third-party systems.

The ideal candidate will translate business needs into clear technical requirements, drive integration initiatives, and help scale our API ecosystem while improving efficiency and reducing operational overhead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Support) to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for integrations.
• Work closely with external partners and vendors to understand integration needs and ensure successful onboarding.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support API design and integration workflows by defining data mappings, business rules, and process flows.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Drive end-to-end integration delivery, from discovery through implementation and post-launch support.
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, standardization, and reusability of integrations.
• Analyze integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose data-driven improvements.
• Contribute to documentation, including API guides, integration playbooks, and internal knowledge bases.
• Support reduction of support overhead by improving requirements clarity and integration quality.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a SaaS or integrations-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of APIs (REST/JSON), web services, and system integrations.
• Experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and basic data structures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with hospitality technology company.
• Familiarity with API tools (e.g., Postman) and integration platforms.
• Basic understanding of data modeling and SQL.
• Experience working with external vendors or partner ecosystems.
• Exposure to scalability and platform architecture concepts.

Reporting Structure:

This role reports to the Integrations leadership team and works closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and external partners.

Work Timings:

Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST to provide healthy overlap between India team and US team and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 2 days’ work from office at Hyderabad.
