JCOFA Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities:

Provide analytic support to the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) on the Joint Country Force Assessments II (JCOFA II) program. Responsible for conducting research and analysis of SIGINT, IMINT, HUMINT, OSINT, and DOMEX reporting to provide a baseline and 20-year projection of foreign forces, including both composition and disposition. Responsible for populating, editing, and validating numerous JCOFA databases, providing configuration tables for equipment found in each dataset, and writing, reviewing, and submitting narratives that correspond to each database which adds further detail to the entire product. Responsible for coordinating with numerous government analysts and managers at MCIA, as well the JCOFA teams at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).

Requirements:

  • Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Desired Experience: At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Be proficient in the use of the JACOB database or equivalent OB database application.
  • Have a minimum of one year experience using all-source data to analyze foreign forces, equipment, and C3 systems, converting the analysis into database format, and providing narrative input explaining the logic behind the analysis.
  • Have experience running OB database application reports and (ad hoc) reports.
