THE OPPORTUNITY
Caldera Medical's Surgical business is entering a period of significant growth in footprint and revenue, and we're looking for a professional sales leader to build the infrastructure that will carry that growth forward. This role will own sales process design, performance management, and systems infrastructure for the field organization — work that needs a dedicated, experienced leader. You'll bring structure and velocity to a scaling commercial team while staying close enough to the field to drive results directly. This role sits at the center of Caldera Medical's next phase of growth in Surgical. The systems, processes, and team this leader builds will determine how effectively we scale our commercial footprint and revenue over the next several years — and will set the foundation for a high-performing, well-developed sales organization built to last.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own achievement of quota and drive revenue growth across the Surgical field sales organization
• Develop and execute sales strategy, including quota setting, resource planning, compensation plan design, and territory sizing
• Lead, coach, and develop Regional Managers and Sales Representatives who report directly into this role
• Build and continuously improve the sales operating system: forecasting, sales resource utilization, and process discipline
• Develop and execute GPO/IDN strategies and account-level execution plans
• Own sales team budgeting and pricing strategy execution
• Cultivate and nurture key opinion leader (KOL) relationships across the surgical customer base
• Present sales strategy, performance, and outlook to executive and board-level audiences
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
• BA/BS from an accredited institution
• Minimum 8 years of sales management experience in medical devices, including at least 5 years leading sales managers (not individual reps) in a field-based commercial organization
• Direct experience managing $50M–$200M in revenue, with a track record of double-digit growth achieved through competitive share capture in a mature, non-breakthrough market
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute a sales strategy from concept to field results, including territory design, quota-setting, and comp plan structure
• Strong executive presentation skills, with experience presenting to C-suite and/or board-level audiences
• Leadership presence with a bias toward execution and accountability
• Data-driven decision-making and CRM discipline
• Experience originating and deploying sales processes and leading new product launches
• Comfort operating as both a builder and a player/coach, balancing foundational process work with hands-on field engagement
• Agility to act effectively in the absence of established process, with the ability to prioritize and scale a growing business
Preferred
• Experience in medical devices, surgical, or clinical sales
• Familiarity with hysteroscopy, gynecology, urology, or OR-based selling environments
