Sr. Product Manager – Data Science

Cadent powers the evolution of TV brand advertising. We provide marketers, agencies, operators, and media owners with data-driven solutions for buying and selling TV advertising. By connecting brands with opportunities across national inventory sources—cable, broadcast, and digital media—our technology improves efficiencies and boosts the results of linear, addressable, and cross-screen campaigns.

Right now, we are looking for a passionate Sr. Product Manager to provide product strategy, management and execution of the Data Science Solutions and Innovation within the Cadent platform. This individual will own the strategic vision and roadmap in Data Science with cross-divisional impact, demonstrating a deep understanding of the data science solutions and associated business areas while being on the forefront of the transformation of advertising. This position will collaborate across product, engineering, and other experts to shape a shared data-driven strategic vision by translating insights into actionable decisions throughout the entire product lifecycle.

  6. Utilize excellent communication skills to clearly distill the essence of your technical work to audiences of all levels and across multiple functional areas
  7. Combination of technical skill sets and business savvy to interface with all levels of the organization
  8. A passion for TV and defining the future of advertising

What you will do: 

  • Product Owner for a team of data scientists focused on hypothesis-driven data analysis projects that grow the product through insights and experimentation
  • Define, own, and communicate a product roadmap and commercial models that deliver products and features and drive revenue growth through strong positioning and differentiation
  • Responsible for delivering data science solutions to meet the company’s current and long-term goals
  • Collaborate with key functional stakeholders (including data science, sales, marketing, services, support, engineering, and finance) to establish product plans, business cases and go-to-market plans
  • Facilitate strong business support throughout data science solution development, implementation, and adoption and integration of data science
  • Ensure that business goals are met and allow us to reveal powerful usage insights and drive strategic decision-making for customers and the industry
  • Champion ongoing competitive, market, and user research to ensure product decisions are based on sound use of both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Define business outcomes, critical metrics and key objectives for data science that are aligned with business priorities and KPIs
  • Promote partnership, teamwork, transparency and full visibility on priorities and decisions. Lead ongoing communications, touchpoints/reviews with business sponsors along with subject matter experts to ensure alignment
  • Translate insights into product direction and empower execution in a data-informed manner throughout the product lifecycle to drive growth
  • Deeply understand the Cadent ecosystem, defining and analyzing metrics that evaluate our trajectory and inform the success of our products
  • Prepare dashboards with visualizations and KPI tracking for senior executives


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics or equivalent or related field experience (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of technical product management
  • Capable to manage projects, meet deadlines, and perform under high stress
  • Ability to communicate in clear and concise manner in writing, verbally, and interpersonally, with all levels in the organization
  • Leadership ability in the design of complex technology systems leveraging multiple teams and diverse         technologies available both from Cadent and external relationships
  • Understanding of TV advertising ecosystem and its associated reporting is a big plus
  • Experience defining instrumentation and analyzing data in platforms
  • Experience performing analysis with large datasets, i.e. Amazon AWS, Snowflake, or Google Big Query
  • Experience with A/B testing and experiment design
  • Extensive knowledge of statistics and analytical concepts
  • Experience in using data to drive product decisions and influence opinions.
  • Coding skills for data analysis (SQL, Python, R, etc.+) preferred
