Media Coordinator

Job Overview

Supports our traffic team in distributing linear and advanced TV creative assets to vendors. This Media Coordinator position is part of the Media team, reporting to a Senior Media Strategist, and serves a critical role in developing creative specifications, handling quality control and managing the assigned book of creative assets for a variety of B2C and B2B clients.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Works closely with Account Managers and Media Strategists to distribute creative assets across approved media vehicles and ensures networks/stations are running proper instructions
  • Secures creative specifications from all vendors and organizes information for creative team
  • Collaborates with Media Strategists to develop space/material close dates and organizes due dates across all creative assets
  • Secures material due date extensions from vendors as needed
  • Handles quality control, making sure assets are built to specification and ensures assets are running properly with assigned vendors
  • Informs Account Managers of errors on orders and assists with corrections
  • Creates dub and purge lists and maintains material libraries
  • Maintains files of all current year copy instructions
  • Data entry using specialized agency software and systems for multiple clients
  • Monitors and manages the flow of information within corporate media e-mail inboxes

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates solid skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal communications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and understand a sense of urgency
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Detail oriented with a strong analytical ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Office applications
  • Advanced data entry skills preferred
  • Able to work independently or within a team to achieve objectives
  • Interested in learning new skills through cross-training and independent study

Education: BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field

Years of experience: Entry Level
