Job Description

Insider Inc. is looking for a talented web designer to lead the redesign for Markets Insider.

What we need:

Markets Insider makes sense of complex markets data with stories that inform and inspire. To continue our vision of well-loved and accessible markets content, we need a site that speaks to our readers and stands out from the competition. Markets Insider is looking for a UI and Front End designer who can join us for 3-4 months while we completely overhaul our site’s look and feel.

What you would do:

Our front-end designer would join us for 3-4 months to transform the entire Markets Insider site. They will own the Markets Insider redesign while working with the Insider Inc. design team and Markets Insider product owner to ensure continuity with our other brands. They would use the established design language and assets from Insider Inc.’s library as a starting point to update all of the site’s page types while bringing their own design ideas to the unique, data-driven site.


  • Proficiency in Sketch and Zeplin

  • Previous experience redesigning medium to large websites

  • Ability to innovate and improve the presentation of existing content, while adhering to an established brand

  • Desire to own this project from start to finish, on a small but fast-moving team
  • Ability to communicate ideas through low and high fidelity sketches and wireframes

  • Perfectionist-level attention to design details

Bonus points:

  • Familiarity with stocks and other investable assets

  • Drive to create something unique in a crowded market

  • Previous experience working with offsite engineering teams
