Business Insider UK, the fastest growing digital business news brand globally now reaches an audience of more than 10 million readers each month in EMEA.  Since our UK launch in 2014 we have made quite an impact growing our audience and business revenue dramatically and we are now looking to expand the team even further in 2017. 

 

As such we are searching for a talented 'new generation' Senior Digital Salesperson in London who inherently understands how to sell digital in today's fast moving media landscape and is both motivated by the opportunity to accelerate our business growth and excited by the challenge of disrupting the traditional b2b publishing space.

We require an experienced, client or agency-facing, digital media & content expert with a proven sales record. Someone who is capable of creating and selling digital ad solutions for B2B and B2C clients, someone who shows insatiable desire and curiosity, combined with the ability to translate ideas into actionable solutions and partnerships for marketeers.

Success is dependent upon an ability to embrace a fast paced 'start up' environment, work closely as part of a team to ensure maximum success for the business, navigate prospective accounts, understand marketing strategies, position Business Insider’s products and ad solutions on their behalf, and close deals. As well as creating custom content solutions all candidates must have at least a cursory knowledge of programmatic ad selling and current ad trends.

Job responsibilities:


Establish and grow client partnerships through the use of content, native and video solutions, across all industry verticals  
Achieve revenue goals on a quarterly basis 
Seek out and develop new partnerships with agencies and brands; develop an understanding of clients' business objectives and challenges; sell through BI offerings that support clients' strategic and tactical needs
Drive engagement with clients and deliver an exceptional customer service
Communicate effectively in writing and over the phone
Accurately manage and forecast sales pipeline

Qualifications:
 

5+ years of digital media experience, including mobile, digital video, social, programmatic, and data
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Great attitude and interest in learning new skills 
Attention to detail
Ability to thrive in an innovative environment
Deep network of advertiser and agency relationships with B2B and B2C clients
