Programmatic Sales Account Director

Job Description

In this newly created Account Director role you will join a small driven team, powering Insider, Inc’s growth.  

You will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, pitching, developing and closing opportunities with agencies, trading desks and brand clients. You will work closely with an account manager to ensure delivery of campaigns and maintain high quality customer service.  You will also work closely with the direct sales team to circle clients and agencies alike.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage pipeline through Salesforce.com tools for maximum efficiency and visibility.

  • Engage, prioritize and develop strong relationships at all levels with brands, agencies and trading desks to drive revenue.

  • Work closely with direct teams where necessary to circle clients, and agencies.

  • Work with AM and/or AE to manage client expectations and performance.

  • Attend industry events/conferences

  • Travel and entertain as necessary to support business objectives (prospect/client meetings, conferences, internal meetings)

  • Crush sales and performance targets

Who you are/Requirements:

  • A commitment to excellence and a proven record of sales achievements against quantitative targets

  • 5+ years of sales experience with experience selling programmatic related solutions

  • A strong understanding of the programmatic digital advertising ecosystem and technologies (e.g., SSP’s, AdExchanges, DSP’s, DMP’s etc.)

  • Proactive and excited to work in a start-up environment

  • Able to manage a multi-million dollar book of business

  • A passion for digital media and it’s quickly evolving landscape

  • A genuinely curious person

  • An awesome sense of humor and outgoing personality
