Programmatic & Data Strategy Manager

Job Description

Insider, Inc. is hiring a Manager of Programmatic & Data Strategy Manager in our New York office.

The Manager of Programmatic & Data Strategy will report into the Director and join a small team responsible for executing Insider, Inc.’s goal to be on the cutting edge of the programmatic arena.  The Manager is someone who is passionate about programmatic advertising and data, excels at client service, and is solutions-oriented. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the digital advertising and Programmatic/AdTech space.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the initial vetting of potential partners and determine fit based on company needs and initiatives

  • Work closely with platform partners to understand their latest tools/products and roll them out internally 

  • Assist with the education and training of pre and post sales teams

  • Assist with quarterly audits of all platform partners (performance, spend, setup, etc.)

  • Work with Director of Revenue Analytics on creating insights that drive decisioning and programmatic strategy

  • General platform maintenance including weekly/monthly partner calls

  • Monitor monthly datasets and tally monthly costs 

  • Attend and travel (if necessary) to industry conferences and networking events

Job requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in digital media and/or AdTech

  • A good understanding of data, DMP experience a plus

  • Experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, major ad servers (DFP, DFA, etc.), major SSPs/Exchanges (Google Ad Manager, Rubicon Project, OpenX, AppNexus, etc.), and web analytics tools 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
