Insider Inc. is looking for a curious, driven, self-starter to be an Analytics and Data Insights Lead within the Insider Studios and sales group. As a data and analytics strategist, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing category insights/presentations 

  • Using first party data to identify interests, preferences, and actions of site visitors to create actionable insights 

  • Executing brand lift studies for larger campaigns 

  • Providing on-going analytics support and best practices to internal stakeholders, including the Studios content producers, sales development, media planning, and ad sales teams, via brief, clearly written reports

  • Working with sales marketing to provide insights/storytelling support to help inform marketing strategies

  • Working with the head of content strategy and analytics to develop benchmarks for content programs


The ideal candidate will have 3–5  years of experience in a research, analytics, and/or insights role and have prior experience:

  • Monitoring performance of key competitors and providing regular insights to sales and marketing 

  • Developing actionable insights from multiple data sources

  • Executing ad effectiveness studies for large campaigns 

  • Supporting key sales proposals with insights

  • Supporting the development and execution of primary research as needed 

  • Training internal teams on the use of 3rd-party research tools 

  • Working with the data/audience team to create off-the-shelf and custom audience segments within our DMP

  • Developing and maintaining benchmark metrics for branded content programs

  • Managing syndicated research vendor relationships

  • Using Excel, comScore, Google Analytics, PowerPoint and Keynote proficiently
