Job Responsibilities:
- Support the identification and reporting of technical bugs within our core engineering workstreams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm creative solutions for hardware and software challenges.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of technical documentation for current Irish engineering initiatives.
- Participate in peer review sessions to ensure project deliverables meet Bugfest quality standards.
- Contribute to the inclusive culture of Bugfest by sharing unique perspectives during team-building events.
Desired Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a high school program with a strong academic focus on STEM subjects.
- Demonstrated interest in engineering principles through coursework or extracurricular activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Proven ability to approach complex problems with a logical and patient mindset.
- Strong time-management skills to balance academic responsibilities with project deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with basic coding languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- A personal connection to or strong interest in Irish culture and heritage.
- Previous experience participating in robotics competitions or science fairs.
