Job Title: STEM Teacher
Location: Brave Christian Schools
Reports To: Elementary Principal
Employment Type: Full-Time, 10 Month Position



Position Overview

Brave Christian Schools is seeking a dynamic, faith-driven educator to lead our new STEM Lab for grades Kindergarten-Fifth Grade. This role combines hands-on STEM instruction, mathematics expertise, communication development, and faith-based leadership.

Key responsibilities would be to design and teach engaging STEM/Innovation blocks while also strengthening mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and applied reasoning across the elementary program.

Program Development & Curriculum

  • Select and implement a cohesive STEM curriculum aligned to state standards and school values.

  • Develop scope and sequence for Innovation STEM Lab.

  • Align elementary coding progression with CodeHS secondary pathway.

  • Ensure academic rigor while maintaining hands-on engagement.



Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, STEM field, or related area.

  • Strong background in mathematics instruction (elementary or middle school).

  • Experience teaching STEM or project-based learning.

  • Ability to design hands-on, inquiry-based instruction.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Commitment to Christian faith and alignment with school mission.
