Sr Consultant (DAM and PIM systems)

Operations | Remote, - / +4 hrs from PDT | Full Time | From $50.00 to $70.00 per hour

  • LOCATION: Remote - North America (Time Zone: PST/CIST | Partial overlap)
  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $50 – $70/hr
  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 35hrs/week - short-term

Knowledge/Skills & Abilities 

  • Has experience in Digital Asset Management as a DAM Manager or with a DAM Vendor or Professional Services organization and/or moving images studies, information or library sciences or related field.

  • Has working knowledge of enterprise Digital Asset Management, Media Asset Management, Marketing Resource Management, Content Management, Product Information Management solutions, capabilities, and tools.  Examples of the DAM systems are Aprimo, Adobe, OpenText and Nuxeo.  Examples of PIM systems are Akeneo, Inriver or Salisify.

  • Understands the principles of asset management use, functions, and tasks with strong expertise in metadata standards, types of metadata and prior cataloging and curation experience.

  • Can capture uses cases and requirements to understand existing systems; users; metadata & taxonomy, asset types & volumes; and process flows to translate into future state solutioning.

  • Has direct experience with user(s), user group(s), asset(s) security and permission models and relationships; metadata management, workflow configurations; reporting, on-boarding, training programs.

  • Has marketing and content operations acumen with strategic thinking and tactical execution skillset.

  • Can quickly learn and be agile to understanding the impacts and opportunities of new technologies, platforms, and software systems to end-users.

  • Communicates effectively to transfer knowledge between team members to inform future state planning, build common understanding(s), make improvements, and manage expectations. Enjoys sharing knowledge and learning. Fluent in utilizing Teams, Confluence, wikis and/or other collaboration tools.


Position Overview

Our client is seeking someone with significant experience in digital asset management (“DAM”) and product information management (“PIM”) systems to join our team to solution, implement, and support the software eco-systems that drive digital operations, marketing, content, insights, and analytics for our global clients. 


What you will do

As a Solution Consultant at Avyre, you will join our collaborative team to bring human-centered solutions to our global clients. On a day-to day basis you can expect to spend your time

  • Working together with our subject matter experts in DAM, PIM, and other solutions to support program lifecycles spanning from Vendor selection to ongoing sustainability efforts for the software eco-systems that drive digital transformation, operations, marketing, content, insights, and analytics to our clients

  • Learning and gaining expertise in a variety of Vendor solutions, tools, and systems

  • Gathering and synthesizing information and data to inform recommendations, solution design and/or improvements.

  • Conducting workshops and facilitating sessions with diverse stakeholder groups

  • Creating, delivering, and packaging documentation in presentations, excel worksheets, Confluence, etc.

  • Ability to think critically and creatively when solving problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and change.

  • Strong project management skills and proactive approach to getting things done

  • Analytically minded, comfortable manipulating, mapping, visualizing, and interpreting data in excel; lucid charts and/or mind map

  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical staff verbally or in written form
