HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $110 - $130 USD / HR

ESTIMATED DURATION: 40Hrs/Week - Long Term, ongoing project

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:  

Our client is looking for someone to join our rapidly expanding design team and help lead the transformation of our sophisticated commercial (business) banking products as we completely redesign them from scratch. We operate as a fast-moving team that prides ourselves on innovation, execution, and ownership with executive leadership that has a passion for great design. This role is responsible for setting a high standard in complex systematic design, user centered design, and creating highly engaging features across our web, mobile, and iPad products.  

The senior designer is highly collaborative and has experience working closely with product teams and engineering teams. They understand complex problems based off of different user personas and have proven experience transforming those problems into elegant and thoughtful solutions.

Qualifications:

 

  • At least 5-7 years experience designing enterprise and/or enterprise software interest/experience in financial services is helpful but not necessary.
  • Passion for UX/UI design, visual design, typography, interactive design, animation, illustration
  • Thoughtful, simple, clean solutions for otherwise complicated problem
  • A profound awareness of the value of good spacing in design
  • Experience designing large design systems
  • Competence in systems thinking across multiple platforms
  • Ownership of problems. Ownership comes with responsibility and space to solve a problem. It also comes with recognition and satisfaction when the problem is solved and delivered.
  • Adaptability. If data, research or a different perspective offers a contradicting position to one you have, you’re comfortable with changing your opinion.
  • Prior success building strong relationships across teams. At the core of our digital products is the value of the human experience. Good people and strong relationships will build better products to serve our clients.
