Product Manager (Mobile, Retail)

Marketing | Remote | Contract

JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position - No C2C agencies (See notes below)

LOCATION: Remote US or Canada based applicant (REMOTE)

HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $80 - $125 USD / HR

ESTIMATED DURATION: 40Hrs/Week - Long Term, 6-month project

We're building a future where Direct-to-Consumer Brands, Retailers, and B2B Businesses (wholesalers, manufacturers, and distributors) have the commerce capabilities that today are only afforded by Marketplace organizations with billions of dollars in R&D.



The product marketer works with sales and marketing to develop content and creative messaging that supports product awareness, interest, and adoption. In addition to discussing products with our product managers and engineers, you will speak with customers about how they use products. You will take these insights and create internal material like battle cards and sales decks, and public material like one-pagers, tutorials, blog posts, and web page copy.



  • Create internal content like battle cards and sales decks

  • Create external content like one-pagers, tutorials, blog posts, and web page copy

  • Work with customers and customer success team to develop case studies and success stories

  • Manage product-related content and update as needed

  • Develop products names, taglines, and go-to market strategy

  • Create and execute product marketing strategies that generate new opportunities

  • Collaborate with designer and content marketer on campaigns


  • 5+ years of marketing experience, most of which in a product-related role

  • 3+ years of recent experience in a fast-growing SaaS startup

  • A portfolio of work (with links) that showcases product marketing success

  • An ability to work both collaboratively and independently

  • An interest in e-commerce, SaaS, startups, and modern software architecture
