Android Engineer

HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $90  - $110 USD / HR

ESTIMATED DURATION: 40Hrs/Week - Long Term, Long-term, ongoing project 


About the Role 

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Android engineer to join our growing technology team and help propel the company into the next stage of growth and beyond. You’ll be working directly with the CTO on a variety of projects to support both the consumer-facing apps as well as infrastructure to support the operational aspects of the business. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Working with the engineering team to develop / support our native Android application 
  • Collaborating with our operations team to build internal applications to improve efficiencies in order management, inventory management, and delivery logistics. 
  • Building tools to help bridge the offline / online nature of Foxtrot’s business. Keeping up to date with the latest tools and technology to help our team. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • BS, MS in Computer Science or related engineering field 
  • 3+ of experience with building and supporting Android apps 
  • Understanding of architectural patterns and how to properly test code 
  • Ability to effectively translate the Product, UX and UI requirements into code Experience with networking and integrating with RESTful APIs 
  • Bonus points for experience in AWS or other cloud service provider, development in *NIX environments, and HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript 
  • Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.
