A perceptive, motivated and exuberant Legal Secretary who loves working with people!  If you possess all of these qualities, this position may be the fit for you!    

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Welcomes guests and clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.

  • Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics; coordinating case preparation.

  • Manages calendars by planning and scheduling conferences and teleconferences

  • Conserves attorneys time by reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents; drafting letters and documents. 

  • Represents attorney by communicating and obtaining information; following-up on delegated assignments.

  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; motivated by exploring opportunities that add value to positional accomplishments.

Requirements:

  • College Degree Required

  • UCLA Legal Secretary Training Program or equivalent 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel 

  • Must have attention to detail

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication

  • Experience with Macintosh computers/software is preferred
