ABOUT this position:

The Sales & Account Manager cultivates client relationships and drives long-term revenue generation. Responsible for keeping his or her clients happy, the Sales & Account Manager must continually deliver client satisfaction. The successful candidate will proactively evangelize the AWE platform within the client's organization.  The Sales & Account Manager is the chief evangelist of the product with existing AWE clients and will be responsible for communicating and sales strategy with regards to the roadmap, upcoming updates, new platforms and any other changes that will impact the client.  The Sales & Account Manager is also responsible for working with the client to resolve any issues during the development process, so as to ensure successful, on-time project delivery.   The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure continued adoption of the AWE platform and revenue growth from existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize the AWE mobile TV platform to current clients
  • Manage client relationships, looking for ways to grow clients' account value
  • Ensure adoption and continued expansion of AWE within the client's organization
  • Clearly communicate future updates and roadmap changes
  • Assist in developing client communication plans and strategic objectives
  • Be the voice of the client within Bottle Rocket and the AWE team
  • Understand clients' business goals and brand
  • Propose creative solutions/initiatives that will impact AWE's bottom line
  • Prepare presentations, reports, upsells, etc., to provide value to clients
  • Draft, negotiate and close statements of work and change orders
  • Competitive product, platform and market analysis
  • Assist in preparing sales and marketing materials for AWE
  • Know your clients and their needs to help influence and drive the AWE platform and product roadmap

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years (five or more years preferred) Account Manager or Account Executive experience, ideally with an interactive agency or web or mobile products 
  • Energetic, eager and proactive communication and client management
  • Experience with mobile best practices and strategic mobile development
  • Experience with products, platform solutions, web-services and/or SaaS
  • Experience working with major media or entertainment companies 
  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Ability to learn on the fly and adapt to a quick changing environment and industry
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Curiosity, creativity and excitement about finding new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Comfortable negotiating business terms
  • Experience with salesforce automation or contact management software
  • A self starter, who is able to think on their feet and work independently
