About This Position:
We are currently seeking a personable, detail-oriented individual to work part-time, 30 - 35 hours per week, as our Office Experience Manager. At Bottle Rocket, we see EVERYTHING as a user experience, and all experiences should be amazing. From the user experience of our apps, to the time our team members, partners and clients spend in our office. While this is clearly an entry position, the right person can do something meaningful with this responsibility. We host some of the most exciting consumer brands in our office for important planning meetings. It's important that their experience be second to none. This holds true for our team members as well. Every experience matters. But be warned, we take this to an extreme level - from lining up chairs perfectly in our conference rooms to the plentiful supply of fresh organic milk in the refrigerator.
This position requires someone with a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be interested and inspired by the idea of working in a fun, motivated, intelligent workplace as part of our growing company and brand.
- Make travel arrangements and reservations
- Organize internal and in-house client meetings, including catering needs (and, of course, plating on china and excellent food presentation)
- Support coordination of monthly social events
- Manage daily administrative tasks and ongoing projects
- Monitor, order and stock office and kitchen supplies
- Maintain the look, cleanliness and organization of the office
- Schedule necessary maintenance
- Perform light cleaning/straightening
- Run office errands
- Respond to urgent requests (must have an iPhone or Android phone to apply)
- Follow up on pending matters with limited direction
- Available via text, email and phone
- Two years experience providing administrative/customer service support in an office setting
- Able to juggle multiple projects with the same deadline
- Able to work well under pressure
- Self-starter with a sense of ownership
- Maturity to handle a range of situations
- Meticulous and thorough nature
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Some after-hours events are required, so must be flexible
- Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation
- Mac user
- Own an iPhone or Android device
