About This Position:
This position is for a finance generalist who seeks to build his/her career and embrace the opportunity to learn most aspects of the financial and accounting sides of a dynamic organization. The individual’s time will be allocated in varying percentages from time to time between accounting and finance projects, with an initial majority focus on accounting and systems. This position will report to the VP of Operations and Finance, with heavy guidance from, and primary interaction with, the Controller.

Accounting duties will include: Credit card statement reconciliation. Expense report review and entry into account system. Develop and maintain an asset ledger. Develop and improve financial systems and processes (including management information systems). Develop and improve company purchase processes. Assist in developing KPI for company.
Financial duties will include: Assist with closing monthly books. Prepare sales pipeline reports. Financial analysis on selected projects and customers contracts. Assist in developing division P&L’s. Budgeting (including annual planning and operating planning matched to budget). Variance analysis of plan vs. actual. Other accounting and finance duties as assigned from time to time.
- BBA in Accounting or Finance
- Intermediate (or higher) Excel Skills
- Intermediate (or higher) PowerPoint and Word skills
- Familiary with QuickBooks
- Prior experience in an accounting and / or finance position
- Be a Mac user
- Own an iPhone or Android smartphone
