We are looking for a Middle Implementation Java Developer to join our growing team and help build, customize, and implement solutions within Blossom's Core Banking platform.

About the Role

As a Middle Implementation Java Developer, you will develop and customize Java-based solutions that support the implementation of Blossom's Core Banking platform for new clients. You'll work on business processes, integrations with digital banking solutions, client migrations, and technical enhancements while collaborating with an international engineering team to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing Java applications.
• Strong experience with Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging enterprise applications.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile development methodologies.
• Professional English (B2+ or higher).
• Must be currently located in Colombia.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Banking, Fintech, or Core Banking systems.
• Experience participating in software implementation or migration projects.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.
• Experience working with digital banking integrations.
• Familiarity with software architecture and design patterns.
