Bleacher Report is hiring an experienced event specialist who will be an integral part of the Experiential Marketing team bringing Bleacher Report’s digital voice to life via our virtual and physical experiences. This role will focus on 3-4 B/R franchise events from November 29 - March 11 and will support team members in all event stages, from ideation to execution. Key responsibilities will include concepting brand activations, working with production partners, managing sponsor activations alongside client strategists, developing and executing programming elements, and supporting team members throughout the event planning process.
*This position requires travel.
Work alongside a small experiential team and multiple internal divisions to support start to finish event production needs from ideation to on-site execution for franchise brand moments
Collaborate on creative ideation inclusive of concepting and budgeting custom activations
Work closely with content production teams to execute appointment viewing experiences for key portfolio brands
Manage sponsorship activation executions in partnership with account managers and client strategists
Understand event production needs and identify partner resources to help implement creative solutions
Help assist with the management of on-site talent at events
Source venues and vendors as needed for events and manage vendors on-site
Support project financials including tracking and reconciling of budgets
Assist with hospitality related elements such as hotel contracting, rooming list management, and ticket allocations for B/R’s tentpole events
2-5 years of related sponsor management and event production experience
Exceptional multitasking skills and a strong attention to organization and detail
Ability to adapt and deliver upon a change of program direction or client request with a positive attitude
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, interpret and prioritize information, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Seamlessly transition between a variety of roles from program development to sponsorship management to operational assistant
Strong interpersonal skills for working in a cross-functional team environment
Effective time management skills working on multiple priorities and projects at a time
Previous positions working directly with sponsors and clients
Proven experience with project management, planning and execution
Ability to work both with a team and independently with strong written and verbal communication skills
