The Internship

Only active students (undergraduate or graduate programs) or recent graduates (within 6 months of applying) will be considered for the internship.

The paid internship will be entirely remote in light of COVID-19 and with your health and safety in mind. There will be extensive programming accommodated for a virtual environment, so you can make the most of your time at Bleacher Report and learn the ins-and-outs of our exciting industry alongside your fellow interns. 

Our 10-week summer internship program will kick off June 7th and commence on or before August 13th.

The Team


Establish a cadence of appointment storytelling worth the most prime real estate in our app, on our social feeds, and out to market. Nurture B/R's positioning as a premium brand through best-in-class sports-culture content on a consistent timeline, while laying the groundwork for sponsorable, brand-organic events that can be sold/activated/franchised.


Be player-friendly. Make audiences know and care more about athletes. Be the platform where players get to show their personalities. Focus on topics we know are of interest to players and our audience. We’re not doing it for athletes — we’re doing it WITH athletes. Our audience must care first, then athletes will want to be a part of it.

The Daily

  • Assist in media management and distributing cuts and scripts to key stakeholders

  • Attend virtual shoots

  • Learn the basics of budgeting based on department standards

  • Take notes during writers & production meetings

  • Researching and checking for accuracy in animated depictions of events

  • Spotting scripts for design/animation needs

  • Attending virtual audio record sessions and marking selects

  • Spotting animation for any visual or technical issues

The Essentials

  • Experience in video production is a plus

  • Awareness of Bleacher Report’s voice and content

  • Extensive knowledge of internet sports culture

  • Extensive knowledge of Google Docs and/or Office Suite

  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite
