About the role:

The Sr. Director, Talent & Booking will be responsible for the strategic, operational, and administrative oversight of B/R’s burgeoning talent team. You will work under the supervision of the SVP, Content to build an infrastructure that allows for the successful development of B/R’s talent and booking strategy and its seamless integration into the greater B/R organization. Core responsibility will be developing, cultivating, and maintaining strong sports & entertainment industry relationships in service of securing A-list access for involvement in the execution of content, events, and brand marketing opportunities. We are looking for someone who is a superlative communicator with an extensive Rolodex who is prepared to leverage both into growing the B/R brand footprint..

Scope of responsibility to include oversight of but not limited to the following:

  • Editorial Booking:

    • Facilitate access for B/R Mag “cover” stories and other premium, exclusively editorial (unpaid) content opportunities that elevate B/R’s storytelling profile.

    • Manage B/R office talent visit experience including navigating delivery of any extending social media account takeovers.

  • Branded Content:

    • Source partners for all B/R branded executions, including paid appearances in content and likeness licensing for animation.  

  • Events/Marketing:

    • Content promotion, event appearances/performances, likeness licensing for advertising materials.

  • Internal Talent Management:

    • Day-to-day management of BR’s internal talent incl. both writers and on-air talent

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience

  • 5-7 years of experience working in talent agency, media, publishing or similar field

  • Experience working with large-scale media company

  • Excellent communications, collaboration, and personnel management skills
