What you'll be doing...
Support a team of 6-8 mobile, web and backend QA engineers
Review test plans and verify sign-offs from stakeholders
Ensure tickets are being addressed in a timely fashion
Manage sprint work and sprint meetings for the QA team
Ensure test automation coverage is addressed for major features in a sprint
Ensure issues are being addressed in public communication channels
Partake as a QA engineer for a squad - including manual testing, test planning, and automation
Regular 1:1s with QA engineers
Participate in interviews, hiring, and on-boarding of new hires
Ensure the flow of information from their group to leadership and vice versa
Mentor, coach, and sponsor team members and teammates
Experience you’ll need...
2+ years managing a team of QA Engineers
3+ years of experience in testing UI for Web and Mobile
3+ years of experience in testing APIs
In-depth knowledge of QA processes and tools
Excellent communication skills
Passion for documentation and improvement of processes
Fast learner and an ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Ability to work against extremely tight deadlines
Comfortable with Revision Control Systems: Git, GitHub
Familiar with one or more Database and SQL dialects: MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, SQLite
Honesty, friendly attitude, and a good sense of humor
Bonus points for...
Experience with Selenium or any open-source GUI test automation tool
Experience with Robot Framework and Python
Experience with AWS
Strong object-oriented programming skills
