The Shows team is looking for an experienced, dedicated NYC-based audio Producer to manage B/R’s podcast network. The Producer will assist in creating podcasts at the intersection of sports and culture featuring Bleacher Report talent and external guests. We work in a fast-paced, 24-7 field in a laid-back environment. You'll be in a role that allows you to work with multiple groups and departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce, edit, and post multiple podcast episodes each week
  • Provide programming department with summaries of episodes to ensure maximum reach
  • Edit video clips of full-length podcast for social
  • Know how to organize and work with a team
  • Collaborate with talent on show topics and segments
  • Show creativity and be a thought and idea leader
  • Display a knowledge across multiple sports and areas
  • Show an eagerness to learn, a hunger to work hard, and an ability to get things done
  • Plan and develop a schedule in conjunction with content, programming, and analytic teams
  • Work with production leadership and talent to schedule recording schedules
  • Understands how to collaborate with Sales and integrate sponsors into podcasts

​Requirements:

  • Strong writing and producing skills
  • Sports fan who can think outside the box
  • Expert knowledge of multiple sports
  • 4+ years feature producing audio content
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with production and editing staff at all levels
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively and efficiently
  • Proven skills in working with talent and interview subjects
  • Experience with all forms of visual storytelling, digital and linear
  • Knowledge of digital post-production process using Adobe and Apple software
  • Adobe Premiere and Audition editing knowledge and understanding preferred
