Responsibilities:
- Creates and conveys the mission and vision of perioperative services with the assistance of the management team
- Provide safe and effective patient-centered care in ambulatory/clinic services.
- Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning patient care.
- Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Document clinic information for each patient visit including vital signs, medications, chief complaint, and patient education utilizing Medent Medical Record System.
- Ensure patient understands the plan for their center prior to the physician review and follow up after the physician visit.
- Assists with office visit examinations and testing if indicated
- Assists physician with ensuring the right equipment is available in the clinic
- Perform venipuncture, EKG, etc. as ordered in the clinic
- Assists with cleaning the clinic room in between patient visits and making the rooms patient ready at all times.
- Demonstrates effective communication, collaboration skills, patient education skills.
- Assists in collecting data related to quality or performance improvement projects that apply to ambulatory clinical services
- Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning patient care
- Assists with flow of patients which could include assisting with preoperative and post operative patient management as needed
- Document patient phone calls in the Medent Medical Record System with follow up as indicated with physician colleagues
- Exhibits professional, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Acts as a patient advocate
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you.

- Lead personnel and implement institutional policies related to emergency, disaster response
- Maintain regulatory requirements, including all country and local regulations
- Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times
- Comply with all organizational policies and standards regarding ethical business practices
- Lead and assist in management of regular staff meetings and in-services
- Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of the organization

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse licensure with the Ghana Nurses and Midwives Council
- Minimum of two years varied and progressive ambulatory clinical service experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
- Complete annual education requirements.
