The Sales Operations Manager will report to the VP of Sales Operations. This position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to help meet business objectives. The Sales Operations Manager will manage SFDC administration and will be responsible for sales processes, forecasting, reporting/analysis, sales planning, and managing systems and tools to effectively manage those deliverables.
Manage the CRM tools and other Sales Operations field tools including being the primary liaison with vendors and the subject matter expert for questions from the field-based team members.
Directly enable forecasting and territory work processes supporting global sales organization.
Partner with the Sales Leadership Team in preparation and review of Key Performance metrics, Business plans, Quarterly Business Reviews, Customer presentations
Work closely with the field to identify the opportunities, develop an action plan, monitor execution and report outperformance.
Drive the reporting process to provide accurate and timely reports to the field team and address specific questions in an effective manner.
Work directly with global sales personnel in providing professional and timely sales operational support.
Responsible for proper documentation related to duties and responsibilities within the sales teams.
Assist in the administration of sales compensation plans
Bachelor’s Degree (MBA helpful)
Minimum of at least 3-5 years in supporting sales organizations and managing sales support teams in a high growth technology environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and have owned the sales operation processes including forecasting, territory, quote setting, and the lead to orders funnel
Strong organization skills, program management desirable
2- 5 years managing the adoption of SFDC and surrounding applications, and have a thorough understanding of the SFDC application model, architecture, automation, and data structure.
Knowledge of sales compensation plans and administration
Demonstrated understanding of Sales, Inside-Sales, and Channels.
Core Competencies, Knowledge And Skill Requirements:
Advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint;
Experience with Google’s G Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
Salesforce Administrator experience required
Marketo experience a plus.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management team
Demonstrated project management skills to execute multiple projects with tight deadlines, including attention to detail and follow-through.
