About the Job

• As an Optician, you’ll play a key role in each patient’s experience — helping them see clearly, feel confident, and leave knowing they were truly cared for. You’ll own the optical with professionalism and pride, offering expert guidance and personal attention every step of the way.
  • Take ownership of the optical, delivering a seamless, high-quality experience
  • Help patients understand their vision benefits and make informed choices
  • Recommend frames and lenses that match both medical needs and personal style
  • Measure, fit, and adjust eyewear for lasting comfort and performance
  • Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure each patient receives the best solution
  • Support front desk operations by answering calls and booking appointments when needed
• This position is 4–6 days per week, with a rotating schedule depending on clinic needs.
• Monday 9a-6p, Tuesday 10a-7p, Wednesday 9a-6p, Thursday 10a-7p, Friday 8a-5p, or Saturday 9a-3p.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or optical training preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in an optical or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of optical principles, lens technology, and frame adjustment techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with practice management software and basic computer applications.
• Dependable transportation to commute to and from work.
